Special equipment refers to equipment involving life safety and posing significant risks, such as boilers, pressure vessels (including gas cylinders), and pressure pipelines, characterized by high pressure (>0.1MPa) and high temperature (≥boiling point). Tank trucks, as specialized vehicles for transporting liquids, gases, or powders, must comply with special equipment management standards (such as TSG R0005-2011) if the loaded substances possess high pressure (e.g., LNG tank truck design pressure 1.6-2.2MPa), high temperature (≥120℃), or highly toxic characteristics. Concrete mixer trucks, because their mixing drum speed (8-12 r/min) and working pressure (≤0.3MPa) do not meet the special equipment threshold, are not classified as such, but must comply with GB7258 Motor Vehicle Safety Technical Standards.
