Classification by unloading direction

Rear Tipper Semi-trailer
The mainstream model worldwide, it unloads materials by tilting the cargo box backward with a simple, stable structure and moderate cost. Its capacity ranges from 30 to 45 cubic meters with a load capacity of 30 to 80 tons. Cargo boxes are available in square, U-shaped and bathtub types. Square boxes suit general bulk materials, while U-shaped boxes resist material adhesion and work well for wet soil and coal. Widely used on construction sites and short-distance mines with low site space requirements.

Side Tipper Semi-trailer
It unloads cargo from either the left or right side, featuring fast unloading speed and large load capacity with lower rollover risks on narrow or uneven ground. It carries 40 to 70 tons and has a box length of 9.5 to 13 meters. Side panels include flat plates and corrugated plates, with various door opening modes. Ideal for large mines, ports and muck transportation at urban construction sites.

Three-way Tipper Semi-trailer
Capable of rear tipping and dual-side tipping, it offers high flexibility for narrow roads and complex construction sites. It has a complicated structure and higher cost, with a load capacity of 30 to 60 tons. Mainly used for small and medium infrastructure projects and agricultural materials such as grain and straw. Though it holds a small market share, it delivers outstanding versatility across multiple working scenarios.

Classification by cargo box structure

Square Box Dump Semi-Trailer

It adopts a rectangular cargo box with vertical plates. The manganese steel frame equipped with X-shaped internal supports delivers strong load-bearing capacity and anti-deformation performance. Optional top covers include fully enclosed, sliding and tarpaulin types. Compatible with most bulk materials such as sand, gravel, muck and construction waste, it boasts the widest applicability.

U-shaped Box Dump Semi-Trailer

A mainstream cargo box type for mining operations. Its smooth inner wall leaves no material residue dead corners, enabling over 30% faster unloading than square boxes and preventing adhesion of wet sand, clay and coal dust. It features a lower center of gravity for greater stability during lifting and traveling, lowering rollover risks. The high-strength steel frame balances heavy load capacity and lightweight design.

Container Dump Semi-Trailer

The skeletal chassis fits standard 20ft/40ft containers. It unloads materials via hydraulic container lifting, integrating intermodal container transport and self-discharging functions. Widely applied in ports and cross-border logistics, one unit can transport both containers and bulk materials for flexible turnover.

Classification by application scenario

Highway Transport Dump Semi-Trailer

It meets national standard dimensional regulations, with a load capacity of 10–50 tons for hauling sand, gravel, coal, grain and other bulk materials. Built lightweight for low fuel consumption, it is equipped with vacuum tires and cabin air conditioning, ideal for long-distance trunk transport and matched with loaders.

Mining & Engineering Dump Semi-Trailer

Customized for mines and large construction sites to carry ore and massive construction debris. Its load capacity ranges from 40 to 80 tons, while ultra-heavy-duty versions can carry over 100 tons. The frame, axles and suspension are fully reinforced for heavy loads; tires are wear-resistant and puncture-proof, and core components receive anti-corrosion and anti-abrasion treatment to withstand harsh, dusty mine conditions. It works with excavators.

Urban Mud & Muck Dump Semi-Trailer

Designed for narrow urban roads with a 20–40 ton load capacity. Most adopt side-tipping enclosed cargo boxes to control dust emission. Fitted with a low-noise hydraulic system, it supports optional Beidou positioning and load monitoring systems to satisfy environmental protection and municipal supervision standards.

Agricultural Dump Semi-Trailer

For transporting grain, straw, fertilizer and farm implements, with a 10–30 ton load capacity and a lightweight, maneuverable body. Cargo box side panels can be modified on demand, and the chassis ground clearance adapts to rural field roads. Optional simple loading and unloading attachments are available to boost agricultural work efficiency.
