The curtain side semi-trailer designed by Ping An features a high-strength steel I-beam frame structure. Some models are equipped with an air suspension system, which allows flexible adjustment of axle height, effectively improving driving stability and cargo handling convenience.

The trailer is fitted with sliding curtain panels on both sides, a fixed or lifting roof, and standard double rear doors. Removable or sliding posts are available on selected models, which not only secure cargo but also enhance the overall rigidity of the body.

The side curtains can be quickly opened and closed along the guide rails, facilitating forklift loading and unloading from both sides and the top. Handling efficiency is improved by 40%–55% compared with conventional van semi-trailers. The optional lifting roof further expands the working space, greatly enhancing loading flexibility and versatility for various logistics scenarios.

The Ping An curtain side semi-trailer is equipped with flexible tarpaulin structures on both sides. The upper part is fitted with sliding guide rails, and the lower part is equipped with locking devices. The side curtains can be easily pushed and pulled to any position, facilitating forklift loading and unloading operations from multiple angles.The top of the trailer also adopts a sliding soft top design with built-in hidden support rails, allowing the tarpaulin to be fully retracted to one end for the hoisting of large cargo from above.The rear of the vehicle is designed with standard double doors made of high-strength light steel or aluminum alloy, which can be smoothly connected with logistics loading platforms, featuring strong universality.

Inside the side curtains, movable stakes are installed, serving the same function as the guardrails of a fence semi-trailer. They can move flexibly along the trailer body, greatly improving the efficiency of palletized cargo handling.After the stakes are locked and fixed, multiple transverse beams can be added. To ensure structural strength and protection while effectively reducing the overall weight, the transverse beams are usually made of aluminum alloy or wood.The trailer integrates the advantages of lightweight design, high strength and high loading efficiency.

 

 

Among standard tri-axle semi-trailers, top European curtain-side models weigh below 5 tons, over 3 tons lighter than steel vans of the same size.

 

With fully openable sides and roof, it offers large loading space and high efficiency for pallet cargo by forklift, also suitable for irregular goods.

 

Equipped with special fasteners, movable stakes and curtains, it provides reliable cargo security.

 

For steel coils and paper rolls, dedicated chassis with groove positioning is available to lower center of gravity and prevent rolling, ensuring much higher safety.

The curtain side system mainly consists of sliding rails, flexible curtains and locks. The curtain is made of high-toughness and wear-resistant material with excellent strength and corrosion resistance, and its actual service performance far exceeds expectations. In overseas markets, the curtains of many curtain side semi-trailers can be used stably for more than ten years without replacement.

 

 

When closed, the side curtains fit tightly with the body. Special waterproof rubber strips are installed at the joints between the curtains and the roof, ensuring reliable sealing performance. Some special models can also be used for heat preservation and fresh-keeping transportation, which fully demonstrates their good tightness and practicality, and fully meets various long-distance freight requirements.
